President’s Message, Michelle OchweriIn May we will be electing our corporate officers and we need more members to join our team. If you would be willing to contribute your ideas and maybe help out a little, please contact Michelle. We are looking for team members who would like to help plan our programs and events for the coming year. If you are unable to commit to a position on the Board but are interested in being involved in projects, activities, or maintaining information for the Affiliate, we would like your help. This is the time to let us know your interests and ideas for the Affiliate. As we continue on with our year, I encourage you as leaders in our profession to continue to participate in the upcoming months’ events. The Planning Meeting where we will discuss activities and events for the upcoming year. This meeting will be held June 16, 2012; this an opportunity for all members to participate. Come for some or all of the meeting and share your ideas for dinner programs, events, and training in the upcoming year. Lunch is provided and we encourage involvement. Sharing your thoughts and ideas with the Executive Board allows us to plan events that are more meaningful to you. If you can’t make the meeting; feel free to send me an email at ochwerim@bentonpud.org telling me your ideas for the upcoming year. |

NAPM-Columbia Basin is the regional affiliate of the Institute of Supply Management a not-for-profit educational organization of over 38,000 Purchasing Agents, Buyers and Supply Chain Professionals. www.ism.ws Local membership represents companies from Moses Lake to Walla Walla including food processing, government contractors, educational institutions, utilities and manufacturing.
